Lethbridge, AB – The Pronghorn Athletes of the Week for the week ending September 28, 2014.
 
Female Athlete of the Week:
Kara Loewen– Women’s Rugby
 
Heading out on the road for two games with her women’s rugby team, third-year winger Kara Loewen put forth a pair of solid performances in the ‘Horns weekend split on the west coast.
 
After having a strong game despite not scoring in the ‘Horns loss to the UBC T-Birds, Loewen led the way for the Pronghorns Sunday in a hard fought 24-22 win over the Victoria Vikes. She scored three of the ‘Horns four tries in the win.
 
Through three games, Loewen leads the conference in tries and sits second in total points with 20.
