Lethbridge, AB – The Two Guys and a Pizza Place Pronghorn Athletes of the Week for the week ending November 13, 2014.
 
Female Athlete of the Week:
Christyna Dashko – Women’s Swim
 
In her first season with the program after transferring from the University of Victoria, Christyna Dashko was the highest scoring Pronghorn woman at the Canada West Championship meet. 
 
In her three individual events, the Okotoks, AB native qualified for one ‘A’ final, finishing 7^th in the 100 metre breaststroke. She also won the ‘B’ final in the 200 metre breaststroke to finish 9^th.
 
Dashko opened the meet with a 10^th place finish in the 50 metre breaststroke.
Male Athlete of the Week:
Devon Chernow – Men’s Swim
 
In his first Canada West swim championships, freshman Devon Chernow made a statement that he will be a swimmer to watch in the future, making two ‘A’ finals and coming within tenths of seconds of three school records.
 
The Airdire, AB native was the highest scoring Pronghorn on the men’s side this weekend with his top performance, a fifth place finish in the 50 metre backstroke.
 
In his other ‘A’ final, the 100 metre back Chernow finished 6^th. He also won the ‘B’ final in 200 metre backstroke to finish 9^th and was 11^th in the 50 metre freestyle.
