Lethbridge, AB – The SUBWAY Pronghorn Athletes of the Week for the week ending March 10 2013.
 
Female Athlete of the Week:
Kayla Gallagher – Women’s Track
 
 
Heading into her first CIS Championship meet, first-year thrower Kayla Gallagher was ranked fifth in the weight throw but she picked the perfect time to set a new personal best and won her first CIS title.
 
While she only registered two throws, both would have won the event and her best throw of 18.24 metres earned her the gold medal.
 
She also finished 10th in the shot put event with a toss of 12.16 meters
