Female Athlete of the Week:
Sadie Lenstra – Women’s Hockey
 
After missing a good chunk of last season due to injury, 2011-12 Canada West rookie of the year Sadie Lenstra opened the 2013-14 season on the right foot and helped the ‘Horns earn three points versus the defending Canada West Champion UBC Thunderbirds.
 
Friday night in the ‘Horns 5-4 shootout loss, Lenstra scored once and finished the game with four shots on goal and a plus-one rating.
 
After falling behind 2-0 Saturday night, Lenstra’s second goal of the weekend tied the score in a game that the ‘Horns would eventually win 3-2.
