Horns run away from Bobcats for third straight win

BRANDON, MB - The Lethbridge Pronghorns used effective shooting and tight defense to come away with a 95-49 win over the Brandon Bobcats Friday night in Brandon.
The Pronghorns out-scored the Bobcats in all four quarters, and were led by Katlyn Olsen's game-high 22 points. Natalie Nichols put up 15 points and grabbed eight rebounds, while Ali Cameron finished with 15 points and three steals. Lauren Taal had an impressive night, finishing with nine points, nine assists, nine steals and six rebounds.
Jaynell Gillett picked up a double-double for the Bobcats, finishing with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

The 'Horns led 18-9 after one quarter and continued to expand their lead in each quarter, leading 44-21 at the half and 70-39 after three quarters.

With the win the ‘Horns improve to 5-12 with the win, while the Bobcats fall to 0-18.
The two teams will meet again Saturday night in the Brandon, in what will be the final women's basketball game played in the BU Gymnasium
