Jared Baker leads a balanced 'Horns attack, where six Pronghorns are averaging double digits, averaging 14.3 points per game. Newcomer Brent Watkins is third in conference rebounding with 10.3 rebounds per game.
The Wesmen couldn't have asked for a better start to the season, sprinting out to a 4-0 record, beating UNBC and Mount Royal the opening weekend before sweeping the Calgary Dinos last weekend in Calgary.
Solid defensively, the Wesmen hold the fourth best defensive unit in the conference, only allowing 68 points against per night.
At the other end of the floor, the Wesmen have been efficient through first four games, sitting second in the conference in field goal percentage at 47.1% and fifth in points, scoring at a 79.5 points per game clip.
Unlike the 'Horns, the Wesmen rely heavily on three players to do the bulk of their scoring. Steven Wesley leads the conference in scoring with 24 points per game, while Andrew Cunningham and Travis Krahn are the only other two Wesmen to average double digits in points.
