Box Score BRANDON – The Bobcats and visiting Pronghorns battled for the second straight night Saturday, and it was the Pronghorns who came away with a 72-53 victory.
For the second night in a row, the Bobcats kept the game close in the first quarter, but were outmatched in the second quarter as the Pronghorns outscored the 'Cats 23-6 to take control of the game.
While the Bobcats outscored Lethbridge in the second half, but it was too little too late and the 'Horns cruised to their second consecutive win.
Mariah Miller led the way for the 'Horns scoring a game high 23 points and added six boards and Kim Veldman added 16 points and six rebounds.
Alyssa Montgomery notched 13 points, three rebounds, and a steal for the 'Cats. Kylee Howard earned 12 points and a steal in her second game as a Bobcat.
The Bobcats fall to 0-2 while the Pronghorns sit at 2-0.
Next weekend, the Bobcats travel to Calgary to take on the Dinos. That same weekend the Pronghorns will face off against the Wesmen at home.
