Lethbridge – Coming off their second road sweep of the season, the Lethbridge Pronghorn men's basketball team will look to find the win column on the 1st Choice Savings Centre floor, hosting the Regina Cougars for a pair of games.

Tip-off is scheduled for Friday night at 8:00pm and 7:00pm Saturday. Both games will also be webcast on http://canadawest.tv.

In a complete reversal of recent years where the Pronghorns have been exceptional on their home court and struggled on the road, the 'Horns are 4-0 on the road this season after sweeping the Trinity Western Spartans last weekend. The 'Horns are 0-2 at the 1st Choice Savings Centre this season.

Following a tough offensive weekend at home two weeks ago, the 'Horns found their scoring touch again last weekend scoring 88 and 92 points respectively and moved back into the top four scoring teams in the conference. The 'Horns are now averaging 77.5 points per game, and hold the second best shooting percentage in Canada West at 47%, but are the 11th ranked defensive team in Canada West allowing 75.7 points per game.

Individually, Brandon Brine and Brent Watkins lead the team offensively. Brine sits seventh on the conference scoring list with 17.8 points per game and Watkins is 16th on the conference list, averaging 14.7 points.

Rob Olsen and freshman Zac Overwater are also averaging double digits in points with 11.7 and 10.8 points respectively.

For the Cougars (2-4), the season has gotten off to a up-and-down start. After opening the season with two straight losses, the Cougars have spilt their last two series, including an impressive spilt with the CIS 10th ranked Calgary Dinos last weekend.

As a team, the Cougars sport the seventh ranked offense in Canada West, scoring 76.8 points per game and are ranked 14th defensively (78.5).

Brothers Jonathan and Brandon Tull lead the Cougars offensively. Jonathan is third in the conference, averaging 20.8 points per game and Brandon is chipping in with 15 points per contest.

The 'Horns will head out on the road next weekend to conclude the first semester of conference action, travelling to Winnipeg to face the Manitoba Bisons.
