BRANDON – The Lethbridge Pronghorns survived a late scare from the Brandon Bobcats, picking up a 73-69 win Friday night in Canada West conference action.

The Bobcats trailed by six with two minutes left in the fourth quarter before battling back to tie it at 69-69 with just under one minute to play.

Lethbridge's Logan Reiter hit two clutch free-throws with 11 seconds left to give the 'Horns the lead, then Brandon couldn't capitalize on a last-second opportunity, sending Rob Olsen to the line who made both shots from the charity stripe, extending the 'Horns margin of victory as time expired.

Four Pronghorns finished in double-digit scoring, led by Reiter and Olsen who each had 16 points. Alex Fletcher finished one rebound shy of a double-double (15 points, nine rebounds), while Morgan Duce had 10 points.

Four Bobcats finished in double-digits as well, led by Ilarion Bonhomme's team-high 16 points. Ali-Mounir Benabdelhak had a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds, while Jordan Reaves added 12 points and Emerick Ravier finished with 10 points.

The win improves Lethbridge's record to 13-6, which is the 'Horns most wins in a season since 1999-2000 when they went 18-2, while Brandon falls to 5-14.

The two teams meet again Saturday night in the second-half of the weekend series, which will also be the Bobcats final home games of the season.
