st Choice Savings Centre.

Entering 2015, the 'Horns (4-6) are tied for the final playoff spot in the division but begin a tough stretch of games, facing the historically stronger teams in Canada West for the entire second half. After hosting the T-Birds, the Pronghorns will host Calgary then travel to Victoria. The 'Horns will also face Saskatchewan and Alberta during the second half of the season.
Statistically speaking the 'Horns are ranked ninth in the conference in both offence and defence. Through 10 games the Horns are scoring on average 65.6 points per game, while allowing 66.2 points per game.
Beginning the home stretch of her Pronghorn career, fifth-year post Kim Veldman leads Canada West in scoring, averaging 21.7 points per game, and is sixth in rebounding with 8.8 boards per game. Allexia Barros sits second on the 'Horns in scoring with 15.2 points, while sophomore Mariah Miller is chipping in with 12.8 points per contest.
Sitting at 5-3, the UBC Thunderbirds are in a three-way tie for third in the division with Saskatchewan and Winnipeg. In their last action before the semester break, the T-Birds split their weekend series with the Saskatchewan Huskies.
While only ranked 11
th offensively in the conference, scoring 63 points per game, the T-Birds are one of the top teams defensively, ranked fifth, and only allowing 60.9 points per game. The Thunderbirds are the top team in Canada West in terms of taking care of the ball with a conference-low of just 13 turnovers per game.
Individually, Kris Young leads the way offensively, scoring 17.8 points per game, which puts her third on the conference scoring list, while Harleen Sidhu chips in with 14.1 points per game.
The 'Horns will remain at home next weekend, hosting Southern Alberta rival Calgary Dinos.
