Lethbridge – Having been eliminated from post-season contention last weekend with their two losses to the Victoria Vikes, the Lethbridge Pronghorns will conclude the home portion of the Canada West schedule this weekend, hosting the division's hottest team in the nationally third ranked Saskatchewan Huskies.

This weekend's match-up pits two teams going in opposite directions, as the 'Horns (4-12) are mired in a seven-game losing streak that dates back to November 29
th, while the Huskies ride the momentum of a nine-game winning streak into Lethbridge and sit atop the Pioneer Division standings at 13-3.
Playing in her final home games of her Pronghorn career this weekend, post Kim Veldman continues to lead Canada West in scoring with 20.5 points per game and will finish her career as the school's all-time leader in rebounds and second in scoring. Entering this weekend, Veldman has notched 1,347 points and 773 rebounds. She trails Shawna Molcak, but would have to average more than 47 points per game over her final four games to catch Molcak.
Allexia Barros has had a solid first season with the 'Horns after transferring from Community College of Rhode Island and set a Pronghorn career high last Saturday night with 30 points. She sits second on the 'Horns in scoring, with 15.1 points per game.
The top defensive team in the conference, the Huskies have not allowed 60 points in any of nine games during this streak and have only allowed more than 70 points twice all season. Offensively, the 'Horns sit seventh in Canada West and score at a 69.2 points per game clip.
Reigning Canada West MVP, Dalyce Emerson leads the way for the Huskies, with 13.1 points and 9.6 rebounds per night. The fourth-year forward was also named the Canada West defensive player of the year and a 1
st team All-Canadian last season.
Laura Dally sits second on the Huskies in scoring with 12.4 points per game, while Kelsey Trulsrud sounds out Saskatchewan's top three with 9.5 points per game.
The 'Horns will complete the 2014-15 Canada West season next weekend in Edmonton versus the Alberta Pandas.
