LETHBRIDGE – The Pronghorns Women's basketball team is in tough this weekend when they travel to Saskatchewan to take on the CIS #1 Huskies. The games are on Friday and Saturday, at 6:15pm. Both can be caught on www.canadawest.tv.

The Pronghorns, 0-8, are on the opposite end of the spectrum as the Huskies, who boast a perfect 10-0 record. To put it bluntly, the games this weekend are a little bit of a mismatch across the board. The Huskies outscore the 'Horns 77.7-51.1 points per game, and are more efficient from the field, shooting 46.2% to the 'Horns' 26.8%. The Huskies also average 4.4 more rebounds per game than the 'Horns.

With the University of Regina hot on their tail for top spot in the Canada West Pioneer division, and a perfect record on the line, the Huskies cannot take these two games against the Pronghorns lightly.

Players to watch this weekend are Pronghorn Zoe Dahl, a third year from Calgary, Alberta, and Huskie Laura Dally, a fifth year from Bright's Grove, Ontario.

Dahl is shooting 34.6% from the field, 33.3% from the three point line, and 50% from the free throw line. She averages 9.3 points per game and 2.0 rebounds per game.

Dally is shooting 43.8% from the field, 33.9% from the three point line, and a very impressive 93.3% from the free throw line. She averages 16.1 points per game, and 4.7 rebounds per game.

Next weekend, the Pronghorns are back home, hosting the University of Manitoba Bisons.
