Lethbridge – While the Lethbridge Pronghorn men's basketball team is guaranteed a post-season appearance, the final weekend of conference games will still carry significance for both teams, as the Pronghorns travel to take on the Alberta Golden Bears in Edmonton.

The 'Horns and Bears face off in Edmonton Saturday afternoon at 4:00pm and Sunday night at 7:00pm. Catch all the action on www.canadawest.tv.

The top 12 teams from the 2016-17 regular season standings – based on win-loss records – will earn post-season berths, with Ratings Percentage Indexes (RPI) then used to seed the playoff teams at the conclusion of play Sunday. Sitting in a tie for fourth in the standings, the Pronghorns (12-6) are ranked eighth in RPI and could move up to as high as sixth in the RPI. For the Bears (13-5) the games are equally as important and while they are currently ranked third in RPI, they could move as high as first, which would give them home court throughout the Canada West playoffs.
