LETHBRIDGE – Officially clinching a playoff spot last weekend, the Lethbridge Pronghorn men's basketball team heads out on the road for the final regular season weekend of the season in search of a home playoff game, traveling to Prince George to face the UNBC Timberwolves.

A look at the teams
Heading into the final two conference games the season, the Pronghorns (11-7) are assured a game next week in the opening round of the playoffs but location and opponent have yet to be determined. The Pronghorns sit seventh in the RPI rankings and depending on the results across the conference the Pronghorns could be ranked as high as five and as low as 10
th.
UNBC (8-10) enters this weekend needing a single win to punch their ticket to the post-season but even with two wins this weekend over the Pronghorns would head out on the road for a single game playoff.
The Pronghorns remain among the top offensive teams in Canada West, sitting second in team scoring, averaging 94.4 points per game, while the Timberwolves sit ninth with 79.6 points per game. Defensively, not much separates the two teams, ranked eighth and ninth, with UNBC allowing 79.6 points per game compared to the Pronghorns 80.1.
Players to watch
Led by a balanced attack, all five Pronghorns starters are averaging double digits in points this season. Fifth-year guard Zac Overwater leads the Pronghorns with 18.4 points per game, while Mike Pierzchala sits second with 15.7 points per game.
Colton Gibb is averaging 12.7 points, Eric Pierce sits at 12.1 ppg and Kyle Peterson chips in with 11.7 points and leads the team with 6.3 assists per contest.
For the Timberwolves, Jovan Leamy leads the way with 18.7 points and 6.6 rebounds per game, while Vova Pluznikov and James Agyeman sits second and third respectively, averaging 13.9 and 10.4 points.
