LETHBRIDGE – Following their first two-loss weekend of the season, the Lethbridge Pronghorn women's basketball team will look to rebound in their final weekend of the first semester but face a tough opponent in the UBC Thunderbirds in Vancouver.
The Pronghorns will take on the T-Birds at the War Memorial Gym on UBC Campus Friday night at 6:00 p.m and Saturday night at 5:00 p.m., both games times are Pacific Time. Catch all the action on

The T-Birds have historically had the Pronghorns number, winning 14 straight games versus the Pronghorns with the last 'Horns win in Vancouver coming during the preseason prior to the 2010-11 season. The Pronghorns beat the T-Bird 49-38.
A look at the teams
The Pronghorns record dropped to 5-3 after two tough losses last weekend on the road to the Frazer Valley Cascades in Abbotsford.
Through four weekends of the conference schedule, the Pronghorns sit ninth offensively, averaging 67.9 points per game and are ranked 11
th defensively, allowing 66.6 points per game.
The Pronghorns sit in the top five in Canada West in three statistical categories, ranking third in three points shooting percentage (32.9%), fourth in steals per game (11.5) and fifth in rebound margin (+5.1).
Senior guard Kacie Bosch leads the Pronghorns attack with 13.3 points per game, while Jessica Haenni sits second with 12.8 points. Katie Keith sits second in the conference in rebounds, averaging 10.4 rebounds per game and is averaging a double-double on the season with 11.1 points per game.
Also sitting at 5-3, the Thunderbirds enter the weekend riding a three-game winning streak after sweeping the UBCO Heat in Kelowna last weekend.
Statistically the Thunderbirds sit in the top 10 in both team offence and defence rankings. Offensively, UBC is ranked sixth, scoring at a 69.6 points per game clip, while defensively, they rank seventh (65.0 ppg).
The T-Birds also lead the conference in assists per game at 11.5 and sit second in both rebound margin (+5.5) and field goal percentage (43.4%).
Fourth-year forward Keylyn Filewich leads UBC in scoring, averaging 18.5 points per game to go along with 9.8 rebounds per game. Jessica Hansen is the only other T-Bird averaging double digits in points with 12.9 per game.
