Box Score Heading into a matchup against the University of Calgary Dinos, the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns would see their four-game winning streak come to end at the hands of a 69-61 loss to the Dinos.

Despite Lethbridge leading for much of the first three quarters, the Dinos would limit the 'Horns to only four points in the final six minutes of the third to enter the fourth quarter with 49-48 lead.

Calgary would come out firing in the final quarter, embarking on a 10-0 run in the opening four minutes. A stingy defensive effort by the Dinos would see the 'Horns struggle with taking care of the basketball.

Down by ten, 58-48, it would be Haily Weaver who would provide the spark for the Pronghorns, connecting on a mid-range jumper after being forced off the three-point line. From there, consecutive Pronghorn baskets from Abby Graves and Millay Johnson would force a Calgary timeout.

A 5-0 Dinos run following Damian Jennings' timeout would restore the ten-point Calgary lead. A Danielle Nadeau three pointer with a minute remaining would not be enough, as the Dinos would snap the Pronghorns' four game winning streak.

The Dinos would respond with a 15-7 run to close the quarter, thanks efficient shooting from beyond the arc. Calgary would connect on three of their six three pointers. Despite the Calgary offense heating up, the 'Horns would outhustle the Dinos on the glass, outrebounding the visitors by two in the quarter (11-9). Calgary would enter the second quarter with a three-point lead, 17-14.

The script would flip in the second quarter as the Dinos would cool down form beyond the arc, shooting only 2 of 9 from three. The Pronghorns would find their rhythm on offense, shooting 9 of 15 in the quarter. It was Calgary that would outrebound the 'Horns in the quarter, securing four more boards, all coming on the offensive glass. However, a stingy defensive effort would allow Lethbridge to secure four steals which they would convert to five fastbreak points. The Pronghorns would take a 35-34 lead into halftime.

The majority of the third quarter was controlled by the Pronghorns, with the 'Horns playing with the lead until the final 47 seconds. A persistent effort by Calgary saw the visitors fight back from a lead as large as six in the quarter, as Lethbridge would muster only four points in the final six minutes of the quarter. The teams would head into the final quarter with the Dinos leading by one, 49-48.

The Pronghorns would be unable to recover from an early 10-0 Calgary run as Lethbridge would fall to their Southern Alberta rivals.
