Fast start leads Pronghorns to sweep

CALGARY – Scoring the games first six points, the Lethbridge Pronghorns jumped on the Calgary Dinos early and never looked back, leading wire-to-wire in a convincing 85-65 win Saturday night in Calgary.

Freshman Deng Dak got the party started with a game opening bucket and the Pronghorns never trailed en route to the sweep of the Dinos and a third win in four games in 2022.

The win improves the Pronghorns record to 500 at 6-6 and into sole possession of third place in the Central Division with four games to play. The Pronghorns sit only one win ahead of the Mount Royal Cougars, but the Cougars only have two games remaining in their schedule.

With the loss the Dinos fall to 9-5 on the season but sit in second place, three wins up on the Pronghorns.
