LETHBRIDGE - In their first home game of the season, the Pronghorns came out on top against the MacEwan Griffins in a sunny showdown at the University of Lethbridge Community Stadium. The match was closely contested in the first half, with both teams creating chances but unable to break the deadlock. However, the Pronghorns took control in the second half, securing a 2-0 victory under the guidance of first-year head coach Vikram Virk.

• The Pronghorns opened the game with early offensive pressure, as Kai Sakaguchi took the first shot on goal.
• MacEwan responded with a chance at the 5-minute mark, but it was called back for offside.
• Just over 13 minutes in, Will Hughes lined up a free kick, looking to go low, but couldn't find the corner.
• The Griffins pushed forward in the 17th minute, but their shot sailed high over the crossbar.
• The first half ended in a stalemate, with both teams evenly matched and unable to break through.
• After the break, the Pronghorns came out strong, with first-year standout Carson Moore nearly capitalizing on an early opportunity.
• The breakthrough came for the Pronghorns when Simon Rolfson found the back of the net with a well-placed header, assisted by Will Hughes.
• In the 89th minute, Noah Bilodeau sealed the win, breaking away from the MacEwan defense to score the Pronghorns' second goal.
