LETHBRIDGE - In their first home game of the season, the Pronghorns came out on top against the MacEwan Griffins in a sunny showdown at the University of Lethbridge Community Stadium. The match was closely contested in the first half, with both teams creating chances but unable to break the deadlock. However, the Pronghorns took control in the second half, securing a 2-0 victory under the guidance of first-year head coach Vikram Virk.

- The breakthrough came for the Pronghorns when Simon Rolfson found the back of the net with a well-placed header, assisted by Will Hughes.
- In the 89th minute, Noah Bilodeau sealed the win, breaking away from the MacEwan defense to score the Pronghorns' second goal.
