Lethbridge, AB – The Pronghorn Athletes of the Week for the week ending September 28, 2014.

Male Athlete of the Week:
Kendell Wiens – Men’s Soccer
 
While he did not score in the ‘Horns two games this past weekend, first-year striker Kendell Wiens was a dynamic physical force for the men’s soccer team in their series versus the nation’s fifth ranked Saskatchewan Huskies.
 
The ‘Horns earned a tie 2-2 on Saturday and a heartbreaking 2-1 loss on Sunday but Wiens was in the middle of the ‘Horns attack all weekend causing havoc for the Huskies defenders. He registered three of the ‘Horns shots on Sunday.
 
The combined Bachelor of Science and Education major has started all six games as a freshman and sits second on the team in shot attempts with 16 and shots on goal with 6.
