Female Athlete of the Week:

Erica Augsten – Women’s Soccer

Third-year defender Erica Augsten was asked to play an unfamiliar position this past weekend due to injuries and thrived playing in the ‘Horns midfield.

On Sunday, her leadership was noticeably missed when she had to exit the game due to injury late as the ‘Horns were pressing for the equalizing goal in a 1-0 loss to the Mount Royal Cougars.

The Science student has started all four games this season for the ‘Horns and has been a steadying force for a young ‘Horns team.

The Pronghorn women return home this weekend to host the Manitoba Bisons and Winnipeg Wesmen.
