Male Athlete of the Week:
Dan Iwanski– Men’s Hockey
During the ‘Horns two losses in Vancouver versus the UBC Thunderbirds this past weekend, Iwanski was an offensive catalyst, being involved in four of the five goals the ‘Horns scored in the two games.
Friday night in the ‘Horns 5-2 loss to the T-Birds, Iwanski assisted on both Pronghorn goals and was even in plus/minus rating, while registering one shot on goal.
Iwanski scored twice the next night in the ‘Horns 7-3 loss to the T-Birds, while being a plus one and registering a team high 6 shots on goal.
Iwanski sits second on team scoring through the first semester, scoring four goals and adding seven assists in 14 games.
