Saskatoon - Kyle Bortis scored with just six seconds left in overtime to lead the University of Saskatchewan Huskies to a 3-2 win over the visiting University of Lethbridge Pronghorns Saturday night in Saskatoon’s Credit Union Centre.

With Huskie pressure in front of Lethbridge goaltender Scott Bowles, Bortis was able to snap the puck just over Bowles’ shoulder and into the top of the net to give the Huskies the overtime victory.
The win moves the Huskies to 4-1 on the season, while the Pronghorns drop to 2-2-1. Lethbridge took Game 1 of the series with a 3-1 victory Friday night. The games were two of four the Huskies will at play at CUC this season.
Pronghorn Nick Hotson opened the scoring 5:41 into the game when his wrist shot from just inside the blueline found its way past Huskie goaltender Ryan Holfeld.
Saskatchewan took back the lead in the period with goals 30 seconds apart. First captain Kyle Ross was able to snap the puck past Lethbridge netminder Scott Bowles on the power play at 18:40. Just seconds later, Brennan Bosch was left alone on a partial breakaway and Andrew Bailey was able to send the rebound into the net at 19:14.
Dustin Moore notched the game back at two when he potted a rebound Holfeld left loose in front of the net 1:17 into the third period.
Holfeld made 25 saves for the Huskies, while Bowles finished the game with 32 for Lethbridge. With the weekend series, Bowles became just the third Canada West netminder to pass the 100 game milestone. Saturday was his 101
st game in the conference, tying him with Krister Toews for second all-time, behind Colin Ryder with 108.
The Huskies hit the road to face bitter rival the University of Alberta Golden Bears in Edmonton next weekend, while Lethbridge faces the University of Calgary Dinos in a home-and-home series.
