Lethbridge – Coming off a disappointing home opening weekend, the Lethbridge Pronghorn men's basketball team looks to get back into the win column, traveling to Langley to face the winless Trinity Western Spartans.
The 'Horns and Spartans will hit the hardwood in Langley Friday and Saturday night with tip-off scheduled for 8:00pm and 7:00pm PST respectively. Both games will also be webcast on

After opening the season with an impressive road sweep in Brandon, the Pronghorns were swept by the Winnipeg Wesmen on their own 1
st Choice Savings Centre floor.
While as a team they were uncharacteristically cold from the floor all weekend, taking care of the ball has become an area of major concern. The 'Horns turned the ball over 50 times on the weekend, including 31 times in Saturday's 28-point loss.
After scoring less than 60 points in each of the last two contests, the Pronghorns have dropped to 14
th offensively in the conference, averaging 71.2 points per game. Their team defence is also ranked 14
th, surrendering 74.5 points per game.
Individually, the 'Horns are led by Brandon Brine, Brent Watkins and Rob Olsen. Brine leads the team in scoring, averaging 16.8 points, while Watkins and Olsen are averaging 12.2 points and 11.5 points respectively.
The start to the 2014-15 season has been a rocky one for the Spartans. Also opening the season on the road, the Spartans were swept by the Manitoba Bisons, before being dominated at home by the Alberta Golden Bears. The Bears beat the Spartans 85-59 and 85-66.
The Spartans are ranked last in Canada West in team offence and defence, scoring 64.8 points per game, while allowing 87.5.
Jesse Jeffers is the lone Spartan to average double digits in points, averaging 10.5 points per game. Kosia Cauw has seen action in one game for the Spartans and put forth a nine point and 12 rebound game.
The 'Horns will return home next weekend to host Regina Cougars for a pair of games.
