Saskatchewan improves to 4-0 on the season, while Lethbridge drops to 1-2-1.

The Huskies trailed with less than a minute to go on the power play with the net empty. On a broken play in the corner Bauml threw the puck to Andrew Johnson driving to the net. Johnson made no mistake sending it to the back of the net at or his fifth of the year at 19:06."

"Our process was awful for two periods but our character took over in the third and we fought back to take the lead," said head coach Spiros Anastas. "This is hockey, unfortunate things happen."

"we have a big kill during double OT and then they score right after that, at the end of the day we have to reflect on why we were in a situation to lose the extra point."

Kendall McFaull opened the game's scoring at 16:45 of the first period on the power play. Zak Stebner's point shot was initially saved by Pronghorn goaltender Dylan Tait, but McFaull was waiting just to Tait's right to bat in the rebound that bounced up into the air.

Dalton Swan nearly tied things up with only 30 seconds to go in the first breaking in alone on Huskie goalie Jordon Cooke while short-handed. Cooke made a big pad save to keep the Huskies up 1-0 at the first intermission.

Ryon Moser got the Pronghorns on the board at 5:16 of the second period. After a Huskie turnover Moser sped down the right wing before sending a shot over the blocker of Cooke off the post and in.

The Huskies would get the lead back before the period was out. McFaull's initial point shot was knocked down in front by Tyler Hansen but Kohl Bauml was quick to jump on the rebound and pot his first career CIS goal.

Lethbridge would go on two straight power plays before the end of the second, but could not beat Cooke to even the score.

Entering the third down a goal, the 'Horns wasted no time taking back momentum. Brandon Clowes got his first of two straight goals in the period with a power play goal just 49 seconds into the final frame.

Clowes got his second on a two-on-one at 12:36. Clowes kept the puck on his backhand, looking to pass before roofing a shot over the blocker of Cooke to take the lead.

"I love that this team doesn't quit," said Anastas. "I love the fight they have in them to be in every single game."

"To me, Jordan Cooke was the Difference this weekend, he was the best player on the ice and he stole his team some points," concluded Anastas on the weekend series

The 'Horns will return to home ice next Friday night, hosting the Calgary Dinos in the front half of a home-and-home series with their southern Alberta rivals.
