Lethbridge – Following their first weekend sweep of the season the Lethbridge Pronghorn men's hockey team heads out on the road riding a three-game winning streak and faces the Manitoba Bisons in Winnipeg for a pair of games.

The three-game winning streak has vaulted the 'Horns (4-5-1) back into the fight for a home playoff spot and are now only four points out of third place in a tight race in the Canada West standings.
Since returning from injury Damien Ketlo and Dylan Tait have shared the crease the past three weeks and both put forth solid performances last weekend in the 'Horns sweep of the UBC Thunderbirds. Tait made 27 saves last Saturday to hand the Thunderbirds their first regulation loss of the season, while Ketlo turned aside 38 shots in the 'Horns 2-1 overtime win on Sunday.
After a slow start to the season, Mitch Maxwell has found his offensive stride and has six points in his last three games. He leads the 'Horns in scoring with three goals and seven assists in 10 games, which also ties him for 11
th in Canada West scoring.
Defenceman Tim Campbell is showing he has a knack for the dramatic, scoring his second overtime winner last Sunday and leads all Canada West defencemen in goals with six.
The Bisons (5-3-2) are also coming off a successful weekend, taking three of four points from the defending CIS Champion Alberta Golden Bears in Edmonton and are riding a 4-0-1 streak heading into Friday night's game
Second-year goaltender Bryon Spriggs stole the show last Saturday night, making 43 saves in the Bisons 3-2 win over the Bears.
Offensively, the Bisons are led by Jordan DePape, who is tied for the conference lead in points with 14 in 10 games. Shaq Merasty sits second on the team with five goals and seven assists.
The 'Horns will return home next weekend to host the Regina Cougars for a pair of games.
