Lethbridge – Hosting the Canada West Championship this weekend, the Lethbridge Pronghorns face the same scenario they did a year ago, the top seeded Calgary Dinos in the first semifinal of the conference tournament.
The 'Horns and Dinos will hit the field at the University Community Stadium at 1:00pm.
Once again this season, CanadaWest.tv will showcase the conference championship tournament. All four tournament games will be available live and on demand, with a tournament pass available for $7.50 CAD. Single day passes are also available for $5 CAD.
Weekend passes for the tournament will be available at the door starting one hour prior to the first semifinal.

Adult - $20
Senior (60+) - $15
Youth (6-17) - $10
The Pronghorns (0-4) found itself in a similar position last year at the conference championship when they faced the then undefeated Dinos. The Pronghorns came out on top in that semifinal showdown with a 35-25 win, eliminating Calgary from both Canada West and national championship contention in the process.
The 'Horns statistically are led by Hailey Driscoll and Abby Neudorf. Driscoll scored three tries in four games, while Driscoll connected on six converts, but if the 'Horns are going to be successful this Friday, seniors Frederique Tremblay and Nicole Ronsky will have to play key roles.
Heading into the weekend there's little question as to who the favourites are, as the undefeated Calgary Dinos enter their semifinal matchup with the host Pronghorns looking to keep their flawless season intact.
Calgary cruised through the four-game conference regular season, outscoring their opponents a combined 181 to 52, earning four or more tries in every Canada West matchup.
The Dinos are led by conference scoring leader Elysa Sandron (3
rd-year / Science / Winnipeg, Man.). The back row/wing set the single-season scoring record this season with 64 points and is also the Canada West career scoring leader with 134 points to her name through three seasons.
In the other conference semi, the defending champion Victoria Vikes take on the Alberta Pandas (3 p.m. MT).
