LETHBRIDGE – Returning to conference action following a conference wide bye weekend, the Pronghorn men's hockey team hits the road, traveling to Regina to take on the Regina Cougars.

During their bye week, the Pronghorns (0-2-0) traveled south of the border for two non-conference games versus two NCAA teams. Saturday night, the Pronghorns were beaten by Western Michigan 4-1 and Sunday afternoon dropped a 5-2 decision to Ferris State.
Through the first two conference games, three freshman paid immediate dividends. Landon Gross scored twice in his Pronghorn debut in a 3-2 loss to the UBC Thunderbirds. Both Michael Grant and Jordan Roy scored in the Pronghorns season opening 6-4 loss to the T-Birds.
Specialty teams is one area the Pronghorns would like to clean up. In the season opening weekend, the Pronghorns power play only scored once on 11 tries, while the Thunderbirds scored five power play goals in the two game sweep.
The Cougars (0-1-1) also opened the season with two losses but earned a single point with an overtime loss to the Mount Royal Cougars.
Offensively, the Cougar were led by defenceman Tyler King, who scored two of the Cougars four goals versus Mount Royal. He also picked up an assist.
