LETHBRIDGE – Coming off their first road sweep since December 2016, the University of Lethbridge Pronghorn men's hockey team will be back on the road this weekend, traveling to Saskatoon to face the U SPORTS second ranked Saskatchewan Huskies.
The Pronghorns and Huskies will square off at the newly opened Merlis Belsher Place Friday and Saturday night at 7 p.m., catch all the action on

Last weekend, the Pronghorns (2-2-0) rebounded from a tough opening home weekend and beat the Regina Cougars 3-2 and 4-2.
Through four games, the Pronghorns goal differential is even, scoring 13 times, while allowing the same number of goals against.
A pair of rookies have had great starts to their university career and are tied the team's scoring lead. Landon Gross, who played with the Olds Grizzlys two years ago has three goals and an assist in three games, while former Fort McMurray Oil Baron Jordan Roy has two goals and two assists. Fourth-year forward Sam McKechnie also has four points in four games.
The Huskies (3-1-0) are also coming off a weekend sweep, beating the Calgary Dinos 5-4 and 3-2 in Saskatoon last weekend. The games were also the Huskies first in their new 2,300 capacity arena, the Merlis Belsher Place.
In four conference games the Huskies have scored 14 times, while allowing 13 goals against.
Offensively, the Huskies have five players tied with four points to lead the team. Kohl Bauml and Collin Shirley each have two goals and two assists, while Jesse Forsberg, Carter Folk and Carson Stadnyk have all record a goal and three assists in four games.
A season ago, the Huskies won three of four match up with the Pronghorns with one of the games in Saskatoon needing double overtime to determine a winner.

The Pronghorns will return home and host the front half of a home-and-home series with the Calgary Dinos next Friday night.
