LETHBRIDGE – With only two weeks remaining in the first semester of conference action, the Lethbridge Pronghorn men's hockey teams seeks to get back on track but will face a tough challenge in a home-and-home set with the southern Alberta rival Calgary Dinos.
The front half of the home-and-home will be in Lethbridge Friday night at 7:00 pm at Nicholas Sheran Arena. The return affair will be at Father David Bauer in Calgary Saturday night at 6:00 pm. Both games will be streamed live on

A look at the teams:
On the road last weekend, the Pronghorns (4-8-0) suffered back-to-back losses in Vancouver to the UBC Thunderbirds and dropped to seventh place in Canada West, three points behind the T-Birds and Manitoba Bisons.
Through 12 games this season, the Pronghorns are ranked seventh in both goals for (28) and goals against (57).
After entering the weekend with the top ranked penalty killing in the conference, the Pronghorns had a blip on the radar, allowing five power play goals against in the two losses and now sit sixth in Canada West. The Pronghorns power play sits fourth but have had the fewest opportunities in the conference.
Offensively, the Pronghorns are led by Landon Gross with four goals and five assists, while freshman Michael Clarke sits second with four goals and three assists.
Sitting in a tie for third place, the Dinos (7-3-2) have only won one of their last four games but played the top two teams in the conference the last two weekends. A week ago, the Dinos split their weekend set with crosstown rivals Mount Royal Cougars.
Statistically, the Dinos sit second in goals against, only allowing 35 goals against in 12 games. With 45 goals scored, Calgary ranks fourth in that category.
Third-year forward Matt Alfaro has had a break out season, already setting career highs in goals and points and leads Canada West scoring with nine goals and 13 assists in only 12 games. His previous career highs were six goals and 20 points in 25 games.
