Box Score  CALGARY – After coming out on the wrong end of an overtime result Firday night, the Lethbridge Pronghorns couldn't return the favour in Calgary, dropping a 5-2 decision to the Calgary Dinos at the Father David Bauer Arena.

Bradley Schoonbaert and Lane Zablocki both picked up their first goals of the season while Mitch Cook, Chris Rauckman, and Coda Gordon provided the rest of the production for Calgary.

Michael Grant and Luke Coleman scored goals for the Pronghorns.

It took until the late portion of the first period for the game to find its opening goal. Schoonbaert maneuvered his way through the Pronghorns' defence before controlling a rolling puck and firing it past the glove of Jack Burgart for his first.

Zablocki went on to add to the Dinos' total two minutes later after Gordon was able to find his stick through traffic to pick up the first point of his collegiate career.

Dinos goaltender Brodan Salmond set the tone early in the second. The rookie puck stopper made a highlight reel save denying Lethbridge off a two-on-one opportunity. The Pronghorns were finally able to solve Salmond minutes later when a scramble in front of the net resulted in Grant jamming the puck in to bring his side back within one.

The Dinos quickly regained their two-goal cushion thanks to a Rauckman breakaway that saw him lift a shot over the blocker of Burgart. Cook would also strike to put Calgary up 4-1 halfway through the second frame.

A power play goal from the Pronghorns brought the visitors within two heading into the final period, but the only goal of the third came off an empty netter by Gordon.

Salmond was solid between the pipes for the Dinos, making 19 saves. On the other end, Burgart stopped 40 out of the 44 shots that he faced.

The Pronghorns will return to home ice in the final weekend before the semester break, hosting the Manitoba Bisons Friday night and Saturday afternoon.
