LETHBRIDGE – Heading into the back half of the season, the Lethbridge Pronghorn men's basketball faces the two-time defending Canada West Champion Calgary Dinos in a home-and-home series that could provide fireworks with two of the top four offensive teams in Canada West squaring off.
The home-and-home series opens in Calgary at the Jack Simpson Gymnasium, tip-off slated for 8:00pm. The rematch is in Lethbridge Saturday night at the 1
st Choice Savings Centre at 7:00pm. Both games will be streamed live on

A look at the teams
Opening 2020 with a split with the Regina Cougars, the Pronghorns (4-8) sit in a tie for ninth with four wins but have played two more games than the Winnipeg Wesman, Fraser Valley Cascades and UNBC Timberwolves.
The Pronghorns remain as one of the top offensive threats in the conference, ranked fourth in the conference, scoring 88.3 points per game but have been challenged at the defensive end of the floor this season. The 'Horns are ranked 14
th defensively, allowing 94 points against per game.
Relying on a balance attack the Pronghorns have six players averaging double-digits in points this season.
Guard Colton Gibb recorded a career best night last Friday with 34 points and 12 rebounds and leads the Pronghorns in scoring 14.4 points per game.
Former Dino Jeff Rodehutskors had his best game as a Pronghorn last weekend as well, registering his first double-double with 24 points and 11 rebounds.
Coming off a second straight Canada West Championship and graduation of top players, the Calgary Dinos (10-0) have not missed a beat this Canada West season and hold a one game lead over Manitoba and Alberta for top spot in the conference.
In addition to being atop the Canada West standings, the Dinos are the top offensive team in the conference scoring at a clip of 93.3 points per game. Calgary is also getting it done at the defensive end of the floor, allowing only 69.2 points per game, which is ranked second best.
Fourth-year forward Brett Layton was named the Canada West first star this past week after combining for 40 points and 38 rebounds in two wins over the Timberwolves. Layton sits third in Canada West scoring with 21.5 points per game and is the top rebounder at 14.9 rebounds.
6-foot-10 Freshman Mason Foreman has had an exceptional start to his colligate career, averaging 18.4 points per game in his first 10 games.
