LETHBRIDGE – Coming off a much needed bye week, the Lethbridge Pronghorn women's rugby team plays host to southern Alberta rival Calgary Dinos in the final conference game of the season for the Pronghorns.
The Pronghorns and Dinos will hit the field at 7:00 pm at the Community Sports Stadium. Friday night's game will also be streamed live on

Friday night will also mark the second annual Bo Smith and Co. game in support of Childhood Cancer awareness. 300,000 children around the world are diagnosed with cancer every year and Bo Smith Co. strives to ease the burdens of these children and their families and 100% of profits are donated to the children and families affected by childhood cancer.

A look at the teams
After playing five games in a 23 day span, the Pronghorns (1-4-0) had a bye last weekend and are looking to close out the season on a positive note.
During the opening weekend of the Canada West season, the Dinos beat the Pronghorns 36-17 in Calgary. Last year at home, the Pronghorns upended the Dinos 22-14 to split the 2021 season series.
Seniors Savanna Collison and Karlee Durfey lead the Pronghorns in scoring this season with five and three tries each respectively.
In addition to Collison and Durfey, fellow fifth-year grads Keegan Brantner and Genna Wright will play in their final game as a Pronghorn on Friday and will be honoured following the game.
The Dinos (2-2), also coming off a bye week, beat the Alberta Pandas in their last action on September 24
th. Calgary shutout the Pandas 20-0 in Edmonton and will play the Pandas again on October 15
th in the final game of the conference season for both teams.
Taejah Thompson leads the Dinos in scoring with 12 points, while the trio of Delany Aikens, Julia Omokahuale and Katie Salverda lead the Dinos in tries with two each.
