LETHBRIDGE – After an unexpected week off, the Lethbridge Pronghorn men's basketball team returns to action this weekend on the road, traveling north to face the Calgary Dinos.
Last week the Pronghorns had their weekend games with the MacEwan Griffins postponed due to the Griffins not having the minimum number of players available to play.
The Pronghorns and Dinos will square off at Jack Simpson Gymnasium in Calgary Friday night at 8:00 pm and Saturday night at 7:00 pm. Catch all the action

During the opening weekend of the Canada West season, the Pronghorns and Dinos spilt their weekend series in Lethbridge with both teams coming away with a one point victory.
A look at the teams
Currently fourth in the Central Division, the Pronghorns (4-6) have their sights set on moving up the standings but will need to get on a bit of a roll to do so. In their last action, the Pronghorns split a home series with the Mount Royal Cougars.
Entering the home stretch of the season, the Pronghorns are currently ranked ninth in the conference in team scoring, averaging 78.9 points per game and are ranked eighth defensively, allowing 75.1 points against.
With four players averaging double digits in point per night, the Pronghorn have relied on a balanced attack offensively. Angelo Mbituyimana comes off the bench to lead the team with 13.9 points per game. De'Andrae Pierre sits second with 12.4 points, while Moreau Darlington and Jeff Rodehutskors chip in with 11.5 and 11 points respectively.
Sitting comfortably in second spot in the division, the Dinos (9-3) have only been beaten by the Alberta Golden Bears and Pronghorns this season. The Dinos swept all eight games with MacEwan and Mount Royal.
Statistically, the Dinos sit sixth in Canada West in team scoring, averaging 83 points per game and are fifth defensively allowing 73.5 points against. The Dinos are also the top three point shooting team in the conference, hitting at 38.3%.
The trio of Noah Warton, Mason Foreman and Aidan Smith are counted on heavily at the offensive end of the floor. Warton averages 17.4 points per game. Foreman and Smith are averaging 16 and 10.8 points respectively.
