A look at the teams
Entering the 2022 season, the Pronghorns will look distinctly different with only five starters returning from a last season and 15 new faces to the program.
Fifth-year seniors Keegan Brantner, Savanna Collison, Karlee Durfey and Genna Wright will be tasked to lead the young program through this transition stage.
Last season, the Pronghorns and Dinos faced off three times with both teams winning on home field during the regular season, while the Dinos beat the Pronghorns 29-19 in the Canada West playoff Bronze medal game.
A season ago, the Dinos finished the regular season with the identical record as the Pronghorns at 3-3 but came home with the bronze medal after playoffs.
The Dinos have also had a departure of key veterans but have added Canada Rugby 7s Senior women's team member Delaney Aikens and returners Taejah Thompson and Julia Omokhuale provide the Dinos with significant fire power.
