VICTORIA – Opening a four-game road trip in an always tough place to play, the Lethbridge Pronghorn men's soccer team put forth a solid team effort to earn a scoreless draw with the Victoria Vikes in Victoria.
The Tie moves the Pronghorns record to 1-6-1, while the Vikes now sees their record move to 2-4-2.
Following a day off and travel day tomorrow, the Pronghorns will wrap up the weekend set in Kelowna on Sunday versus the UBCO Heat. Next weekend, the Pronghorns will head to northern Alberta to face the MacEwan Griffins and Alberta Golden Bears.

Substitute Cadel Goertzen led the Pronghorns with two shots on goal in only 24 minutes of action. Danilo Morales, Jeremy Dalla Costa, and Holden Lehr registered the other shots on goal for the Pronghorns.
The Vikes had three players attempt two shots but Javier Sagaste, Nick Park, Dusan Mitrovic and Andrew Gibbs were the only Vikes to find the mark.
Making his third start of the season in goal, Armaan Thawer made four saves to earn his first clean sheet as a Pronghorn. Today's game was only Thawer's fifth as a Pronghorn since transferring to the program after starting his university career at Mount Royal.
