In what marked head coach Vikram Virk's first Canada West competition, the Pronghorns showcased resilience and strong defensive play against the defending Canada West Champions.
 
From the start, the Pronghorns matched the Cougars' intensity, with both teams battling for control in a physical contest. The Pronghorns' defense stood firm, stopping multiple attempts by the Cougars to break through.

While the Pronghorns created several opportunities, the match remained scoreless, showcasing their ability to compete against top-tier teams. The result was a solid start to the season, highlighting the team's determination and defensive strength under new leadership.
