2010 Canada West player of the year, Kelsey Willoughby picked up where she left off, leading the CIS fourth ranked Pronghorns to a pair of dominant shutout victories to open the Canada West season.
 
Friday in the season opener versus the UBC Thunderbirds, she filled in as the lineout thrower for the injured Jill Antukowicz and was still able to put her athletic stamp in a great defensive performance as the Horns shutout the T-birds.
 
Sunday versus the Victoria Vikes, the flanker led the charge, scoring three first half tries, as the Horns shutout the Vikes 53-0. Willoughby was also a defensive presence before being subbed at the half.
