Male Athlete of the Week:
 
Chase Schaber – Men’s Hockey
 
Freshman forward Chase Schaber kick-started his collegiate career in style this past weekend in the ‘Horns home opening series versus the Calgary Dinos.
 
The former captain of the Kamloops Blazers set up two of the ‘Horns three goals in a 4-3 overtime loss to the Dinos Thursday night. He also finished with 4 shots on goal and an even plus-minus rating.
 
While he didn't register a point in the 3-0 loss the next night in Calgary, Schaber played a strong two-way game and was a constant threat offensively.
