Female Athlete of the Week:
Sadie Lenstra – Women’s Hockey
Third-year forward Sadie Lenstra continued her strong early season play, helping the Pronghorn women’s hockey team to a weekend split with the Saskatchewan Huskies.
Despite going pointless in the ‘Horns 2-1 overtime win Friday, Lenstra was a constant threat offensively and generated numerous chances.
With the ‘Horns down 3-1 late Saturday night, Lenstra scored with just over a minute to play to cut the Huskies lead to one.
Through four weeks of the season, Lenstra leads the ‘Horns in goals with four and is tied for the team lead in points with six.
