Lethbridge – The Lethbridge Pronghorn women's soccer team (0-9-2) will conclude the 2013 season this weekend with one game on the road, traveling to Calgary to face the Dinos.
Kick-off is set for 12:00pm at Varsity Field on the University of Calgary campus.
It has been a rough 2013 campaign for the 'Horns with only two points to show for their effort. They rank second last in goal scoring with five and third last in goal against, allowing 31.
Kim Shellenberg leads the 'Horns in goal scoring with two, while Emily Felker and Alycia Ammato are the only other Pronghorns to score to go along with an own goal versus Regina.
While the Dinos (5-4-2 CW) have clinched a playoff spot, the game will not be meaningless for Calgary. Despite not being able to improve on their sixth place positioning, a win would solidify them at six and a better match up for the opening round of playoffs.
The Dinos have been a potent unit offensively this season, leading the conference in scoring with 33 goals and Nikki Furukawa leads the Dinos with eight.
