Lethbridge – For the second week in a row the Lethbridge women's soccer team heads out on the road, this time heading west to face the Victoria Vikes and Fraser Valley Cascades.

Last weekend, the 'Horns (0-5-2) suffered two losses in Saskatchewan, dropping a 2-0 decision to the Saskatchewan Huskies and 2-1 loss in Regina at the hands of the Cougars.

Offensive production continues to be the 'Horns undoing so far this season, only scoring three goals thus far and despite being the lowest scoring team in the conference, the 'Horns rank seventh in shots.

Defensively the 'Horns have been solid this season and have only allowed 11 goals in seven games, ranking the ninth in the conference.

Friday night, the 'Horns face the Victoria Vikes, kick-off is scheduled for 5:00pm PST. The Vikes (4-2-0) dropped out of the CIS top 10 rankings this week and had been ranked as high as fourth earlier this season.

Last weekend in their only game, the Vikes beat the Cascades 2-0 in Victoria and both the Vikes losses this season have come versus ranked opponents in the third ranked Alberta Pandas and sixth ranked UBC Thunderbirds.

Jackie Harrison leads the Vikes conference's fifth ranked offense with three goals and the Vikes are averaging only one goal against per game.

Saturday night, the 'Horns travel to Abbotsford to face the Fraser Valley Cascades (2-3-1) and while only winning twice so far, the Cascades have had one of the toughest schedules to date, facing national ranked opponents.

The Cascades have scored eight times this season and Danica Kump and Jade Palm are tied for the team lead with two goals apiece.

The 'Horns will return home next weekend for their final home stand, welcoming the UBC Thunderbirds and Trinity Western Spartans.
