‘Horns Head out for Tour through Saskatchewan

Lethbridge – Coming off their second consecutive tie, the Lethbridge Pronghorn women's soccer team (0-3-2 CW) heads out on the road in search of their first win of the season. The 'Horns will make a two game swing through Saskatchewan, facing the Saskatchewan Huskies and Regina Cougars.
 
The 'Horns played only one game last weekend, battling to a 1-1 draw with the UNBC Timberwolves at the University Community Stadium last Saturday.
 
With only two goals in their first five games, the 'Horns need to start capitalizing on their opportunities. Despite only scoring two goals, the 'Horns are fourth in the conference with shot attempts per game, averaging more than 15 shots attempts.
 
Saturday, the 'Horns will get a stiff test in the undefeated Huskies (3-0-2 CW). The Huskies have only surrendered three goals in five games so far, while scoring nine goals of their own.
 
After opening the season with three straight wins, the Huskies earned ties last weekend,  both against CIS ranked teams. At home, the Huskies tied, the seventh ranked Trinity Western Spartans 1-1, before finished the weekend with a scoreless draw versus the fourth ranked UBC Thunderbirds.
 
The Cougars (2-2-1 CW, who the 'Horns will wrap up their trip against Sunday, are coming off a 3-0 loss versus the Thunderbirds and a scoreless draw with the Spartans last weekend.
 
Through their first five games, the Cougars have scored and allowed the exact same number of goals at six. They are led by Meagan Cormier offensively, who has scored three of her teams six goals.
 
Both games are scheduled for 12:00pm kick-offs in Saskatoon and Regina.
