Lethbridge – The Lethbridge Pronghorn men's soccer team (1-3-2) heads out on the road this weekend in their first of two consecutive weeks away from the friendly confines of the University Sport Community Stadium and travels to Calgary for a pair of games versus the Mount Royal Cougars (1-4-1).

The 'Horns and Cougars will hit the pitch Friday and Saturday night at MRU Stadium Field. Kick-off is set for 8:30pm both nights.

The 'Horns will look to build off their play from this past weekend, where the 'Horns played virtually even with the CIS fifth ranked Saskatchewan Huskies. The 'Horns scored a goal in injury time Saturday to earn a 2-2 draw and lost a heart breaking game Sunday after the Huskies returned the favor, scoring in extra time to win 2-1.

After being shutout in their first two games of the season, the 'Horns offense has found a bit of a rhythm, scoring seven times in their past four games. Conner Brady and freshman Stephen Primeau lead the Pronghorns offensively with two goals apiece.

The Cougars come off a weekend split with the Winnipeg Wesmen in Winnipeg that saw the Cougars lose the first game 1-0 before earning the spilt with a 2-1 win.

If not for their forfeited two wins from the opening weekend of the season due to an ineligible player, the Cougars would be sitting in third place in the Prairie Division.

Cody Cook, Kyle Rushton, and Conner Duthie have done the bulk of the damage offensively for the Cougars this season. Cook leads the team with four goals, while Rushton and Duthie have score three and two goals respectively.

The 'Horns travel to Edmonton next weekend before closing out the regular season at home versus the Calgary Dinos October 18th and 19th.
