th minute propelled the Cougars to a 1-0 win over the Lethbridge Pronghorns in the second game of a weekend series.

Coming off a scoreless draw the previous day, the Cougars opened the game with sustained pressure, hemming the 'Horns in their end of the field but the 'Horns defence held their own.

Searching for the equalizer, with 10 minutes to play, the 'Horns tried to push forward but were unable find the back of the net. Off a corner kick Stephanie Groten had a chance to knot the game in extra time but her header was stopped by McFee.
The 'Horns will head out on the road next weekend traveling to Winnipeg to face the Wesmen, while the Cougars will return home to host the Calgary Dinos.
