Lethbridge – The CIS fourth ranked Lethbridge Pronghorns look to get back in the win column after suffering their first loss of the season last weekend at home and face the Calgary Dinos in a home-and-home series, starting Friday night in Calgary.

Puck drops both night's at 7:00pm. Friday night's game will be at Markin MacPhail Centre at Canada Olympic Park, with the back half of the home-and-home series going at Nicholas Sheran Arena.

Despite settling for a weekend split last weekend with the Saskatchewan Huskies, the 'Horns (4-1-1-0), the 'Horns moved up one spot on the CIS Top 10 list to #4 and hold a one point lead over the Huskies for first place in Canada West.

Offensively, Lauren Fredrich leads the team with three goals and three assists and is tied for fourth on the conference scoring list. She has also already set career highs in goals and points. Fourth-year defender Jocelyn Sabourin also has six points, which is a career high as well and is tied for the scoring lead among defenseman in Canada West.

The Dinos (1-4-0-1) already know that they will be at the CIS Championships in March as the host, but the season has not gotten off to the start they would like. Through three weekends the Dinos are at the bottom of the Canada West Standings and enter the weekend on a two game losing streak after being swept at home by the UBC Thunderbirds last weekend.

So far, the Dinos have allowed the most goals against in Canada West, allowing 24 goals against in six games and have also scored the third fewest goals with nine.

Russian Olympian Iya Gavrilova leads the Dinos offensively in her final year of eligibility.  The two-time Olympian has two goals and four assists in six games. Chelsea Court leads the team in goals with three.

Between the pipes, the Dinos have used three goaltenders so far; Hailey Dowling has made four appearances and holds a 3.28 goals-against average and a 0.892 save percentage. Sarah Murray has made two appearances.

The 'Horns will face the Mount Royal Cougars next weekend in another home-and-home series, starting Friday night in Lethbridge.
