Lethbridge – Coming off a split during their opening weekend, the Lethbridge Pronghorn men's soccer team heads out on the road to face their southern Alberta rivals in Calgary.

Saturday afternoon, the 'Horns will face the Calgary Dinos at 2:15 before completing their weekend in Calgary versus the Mount Royal Cougars Sunday at 2:30.

After dropping their opening game Friday to the CIS ninth ranked Alberta Golden Bears 6-1, the 'Horns rebounded Sunday afternoon with an exceptional performance in a 3-0 win over the MacEwan Griffins. The 'Horns had three different goal scorers in the win, but Chris Rushworth put on an offensive display Sunday. Rushworth scored the game's final goal and was dangerous all afternoon, hitting two posts and being credited with a game high eight shots on goal.

Kendell Weins and Nick Leszczynski scored the other goals Sunday, while Riley Flint scored the lone goal Friday in the 'Horns loss.

The Dinos (0-0-0) will see their first conference action this weekend after having a bye last weekend. Coming off their best season in school history, there are plenty of question marks surrounding the team. A 9-3 record was their best all-time but the Dinos have had a change at the top. Brendan O'Connell takes over from Brian McDonnell. The Dinos also had five players depart from last season's squad.

Sunday the 'Horns will head south on Crowchild Trail to face the 2-0 Cougars, who opened the season with a pair of wins over the Winnipeg Wesmen at home. The Cougars won by 2-1 and 2-0 scores, with freshman Lewis Odosa scoring a goal in each of his first two conference games, including the game winning goal in Sunday's win.

The 'Horns will have a bye next weekend, before returning home the following week to face the Cougars and Dinos again. The 'Horns will face the Cougars Thursday night and the Dinos Sunday afternoon.
