Lethbridge – The Lethbridge Pronghorn women's soccer team look to make a consecutive playoff appearance this year and the task won't come easy this weekend, facing the division leading and undefeated Calgary Dinos in a home-and-home series.
The weekend series kicks off Saturday in Lethbridge, with the back half of the home-and-home in Calgary on Sunday. Both games kick off at 12:00pm. Saturday's game will be streamed live on

On the road last weekend, the 'Horns (2-6-0) lost both games in Saskatchewan, dropping a 1-0 decision to the Regina Cougars Saturday before being shut out again Sunday in Saskatoon, 3-0 by the Huskies. The two losses dropped the 'Horns to seventh place in the Prairie Division, but only one point behind the Mount Royal Cougars for the final playoff spot in the division.
Through eight games this season, the 'Horns have scored nine goals, while allowing 12 goals against.
Offensively, Nikki Furukawa leads the way for the 'Horns with four goals, while Kayla Blacquiere has two.
The Dinos (7-0-1) have had a dominate season thus far. Ranked fourth in the CIS, the Dinos have outscored their opponents 37 to 3 in eight games. The 37 goals the Dinos have scored are 13 more than any other team in Canada West.
As a team, the Dinos have nine players that have registered at least one goal but are led by Mollee Ramsey whose 10 goals leads all Canada West goal scorers. Jordan Smith sits second on U of C in goals with 8.
In their last action, the Dinos tied the Huskies 1-1 and beat the Cougars 2-0.
For Saturday's game, the coaching staff of the women's soccer program will join the men's program and coach shoeless in support of the Right to Play 'Go Shoeless' campaign.
The 'Horns will play their final home games of the season next weekend, hosting the Mount Royal Cougars and MacEwan Griffins.
