Lethbridge – Coming off a solid opening series, the Lethbridge Pronghorn men's soccer team remains on the road this week, travelling to Calgary to face the Mount Royal Cougars and Calgary Dinos.

The 'Horns face the Cougars Wednesday and the Dinos on Thursday, both games kick-off at 6:00pm in Calgary.

During the opening series of the Canada West season, the 'Horns (1-0-1) earned four of a possible six points on the road in Winnipeg. In the opening game, the 'Horns scored three second half goals to clip the Winnipeg Wesmen 3-1 and came from behind in game two with a goal in the 86th minute to grab a 1-1 tie.

Third-year midfielder Stephan Primeau scored twice to lead the team scoring last weekend, while Nick Leszczynski and new comer Mike Weigle scored the other markers.

Nolan French was in goal for both games for the 'Horns.

The Cougars (1-1) split their opening series in Edmonton last week beating the MacEwan Griffins 2-1 before losing 1-0 to the Alberta Golden Bears. Mount Royal swept the 'Horns last season, beating the Pronghorns 3-0 at home and 3-1 in Lethbridge.

The Dinos also opened the season with a series split in Edmonton, losing 1-0 to the Golden Bears before dominating the Griffins 4-0. Last season, the 'Horns and Dinos split their two game series with both teams winning on their home field. The Dinos won 2-1 in Calgary, while the 'Horns took a 3-2 decision in Lethbridge.

The 'Horns will return home for their home opener September 9th, when the Alberta Golden Bears come to town.
