Lethbridge – The 'Horns return to home field this weekend after a tough road trip a week ago and face a stiff test in a pair of perennial Canada West contenders in the Victoria Vikes and UBC Thunderbirds.
Saturday, the 'Horns take on the Vikes and wrap up the weekend Sunday versus the UBC Thunderbirds. Both games are scheduled to follow the women's games at 2:15 pm.
Last weekend, the 'Horns (2-5-1) dropped both games by a goal, losing 2-1 to the TRU WolfPack and were shutout 1-0 by the UBC Okanagan Heat.
Through the first four weeks of the Canada season, the 'Horns have scored 11 goals for while allowing 18 goals against.

The Vikes (2-4-0), who were ranked second in the annual Canada West coaches' poll, have gotten off to an uncharacteristically slow start this season. Last week, the Vikes beat the Winnipeg Wesmen 4-0 before dropping a close 3-2 decision to the CIS second ranked Alberta Golden Bears.
Paulo Dait leads the Vikes with four goals, the other five goals scored by the Vikes this season have been scored by five different players.
Sunday afternoon, the 'Horns face the CIS fifth ranked and undefeated UBC Thunderbirds (4-0-4). The T-Birds enter the weekend following three Golden Bears and Saskatchewan Huskies.
In eight games this season, the Thunderbirds have scored 13 goals and only allowed three against but have not scored a goal in three games.
So far the T-Birds have relied on a balanced attack with four players registering two goals and five others have scored once.
The 'Horns will have their bye next weekend, before continuing their home stand October 8
