Pronghorns playoff lives on the line at home

LETHBRIDGE – Coming off their second bye weekend, the Lethbridge Pronghorn men's soccer team begins a four game home stand this weekend to conclude the 2018 Canada West soccer regular season and are in dire need of wins if they are to make an appearance in the post-season.
 
The Pronghorns host the Saskatchewan Huskies for a pair of games, Saturday and Sunday, kick-off for both games is scheduled for 2:15 PM at the University Community Stadium. Both games will also be streamed live on www.canadawest.tv.
 
Entering the home stretch of the season, the Pronghorns (0-8-2) are three wins behind the Huskies, MacEwan Griffins and Mount Royal Cougars for the final spots in the Canada West playoffs.
 
Offensively challenged this season, the Pronghorns have only scored four times in 10 games, while allowing 24 goals against.
 
Four different players have tallied goals for the Pronghorns this season with Kyle Angerilli, Ellis Davies, Sean Gaiesky and Thomas Hammerton finding the back of the net.
 
Goalkeeper Nolan French has started all 10 games this season and sits in second place in Canada West total saves with 60.
 
Their opponent, the Huskies (3-6-1) are one of the teams the Pronghorns are chasing and split their two games in Edmonton during their last action.
 
Through 10 games this season, the Huskies have scored 12 times, while allowing 20 goals against.
 
Tyler Redl leads the Huskies with four goals, while freshman Tobi Ojo sits second with three goals in 8 games played.
